ORLY?

This page will list one-liners describing things I've observed or have been on the receiving end of. This will be sporadically updated whenever something happens in life or whenever I recognize a pattern based on past experiences. Oh, don't take this as fact cause chances are, I'm wrong!
- Tired of waiting? Wait no more! Make the first move (if you're a guy/feminist/modern go-getter woman).
- Old traditions have their place. But sternly refusing change can lead to tragedy and pain.
- You can still be friends.
- Maintaining good grades and a relationship is hard work indeed (on BOTH parties involved).
- Religion itself is not bad nor evil. It's how people use it. But too often people are corrupted by the power of having followers.
- Too often people dismiss others on religion, race, and looks alone.
- Using someone as a "stepping stone" to get closer to a crush is weaksauce. I will not aid nor condone this behavior!
- Jealousy is never a legitimate feeling. Strive to be better rather than becoming bitter.
- The gym is NOT a place to pick-up girls/guys. Or at least, many people share this view thus lowering the chance of success.
- The AFTER-party really is the one you want to attend.
- Bad timing (in life's circumstances) prevents anything from getting off the ground.
- Laugh at Internet/keyboard toughguys. Acting tough on the Internet - what's the point?
- It's not about intelligence. It's about determination.
- Say things as they are. Sugar coating can be annoying and offensive to some.
- Procrastination - I'll talk about this later. (Really, it screws you over. Don't do it.)
- House is right. Being right is sometimes the only thing that matters.
- Treat people as ends of themselves and not as means for your own ends.
