A list of movies I have seen (or wish to see).
Here I will list movies I have seen and what I rate them out of 5, where 5 is a perfect movie (most of these are in the IMDB top 250) and 0 is a movie with no redeeming value whatsoever (read: Meet the Spartans and other films made by those douchebags, any film by Uwe Boll, Catwoman, etc). I will try to maintain a chronological order.
I will also list the movies I want to see but haven't seen yet because they're not released yet or I couldn't find a date because I suck. (Ya rly!)
What the Ratings Mean
0 = Anything from the screenwriters of Meet the Spartans, Epic Movie, Date Movie, Disaster Movie, and anything by Uwe Boll. The film is the very definition of failure. Life's outlook is worsened having watched it and you will want to punch kittens and babies in an attempt to get a refund on time.
1 = Some redeeming value but still fails...hard.
2 = Mindless popcorn entertainment. Forget plot and acting.
3 = Average movie. Good entertainment value and/or decent acting and plot. The film still has its weaknesses. At this point, I can say to others, "I liked it."
4 = Excellent movie. Awesome direction, performances, and plot that gives a good lingering feeling after leaving the theatre. A few minor weaknesses.
5 = Perfect movie. A movie with monumental direction and performances with a captivating plot. A film that leaves a lasting impact such that life feels better just by having watched it.
No rating means I have not seen it yet.
